The Challenge
- With limited technology capabilities and a tight deadline, provide OraSure with MTA’s expertise in planning their first virtual national sales meeting for their U.S./Canada team members.
- Leveraging MTA’s expertise, provide OraSure with a comprehensive virtual experience for their first virtual National Sales Meeting on an extremely tight deadline.
- Elevate the experience beyond a Zoom meeting to be an engaging, dynamic virtual National Sales Meeting that would reflect OraSure’s values of connection and company culture for its 70 attendees.
The Results
- Designing a virtual experience with unique, engaging opportunities for all attendees leading up to and throughout the 3-day event.
- Curating an agenda comprised of 4-hours of sessions each day including sales and new product training; technology session; diversity and inclusion training; pre-produced daily inspirational talks by the leadership team; and a unique awards program to recognize high performers.
- Creating daily themes and content to reflect the overarching theme of the event.
- Having a guest mentalist/magician kick off the event with an interactive 30-minute pre-awards show.
- Producing an Awards Show that included music and a live chat.
- Having celebrities, such as pop artist Paula Abdul, Dancing with the Stars Cheryl Burke and NFL player Tyrell Owens along with celebrity impersonators like Dolly Parton and “the Terminator” making surprise cameo appearances to announce the award winners.
- Utilizing a user-friendly virtual platform so attendees could interact and engage using various tools like, The Event’s Social Wall, Virtual Photo Booth, Virtual Break Time, and a Friendly Challenge Competition.
